Sculpture is visceral communication. Creating something that evokes an emotional response is form of pure communication. That response might be hard to explain, so ethereal and mysterious that words can not do it true justice. Other times it is so concise and clear that words are redundant. In any case, real sculpture is about the expression of ideas.
